Yesterday we drove down to watch the Buffalo Bills in action against the Vikings. Living in Southern Ontario you’re pretty much guaranteed to see the Bills on tv every Sunday. So when I first moved to Canada, the Bills was one of the teams I knew… especially the “glory years” team that went to 4 super bowls. I was never a fan of the Bills however I did like some of the individual players, including Andre Reed (cutting across the middle). At halftime during yesterdays game we were fortunate enough to see his name being added to the Bills wall of fame. Both the fans and Bills organization paid tribute to their former hero. Read more about the ceremony here.
Now I’m not a fan of either the Bills or the Vikings… but this was an NFL game. Too bad it wasn’tt the Niners that were playing
This brings me to my usual post for Mondays… “Pet Peeve”
* Why is it necessary for idiots to attend games? Do you really have to be so annoying and loud? OK, so you know the game and can name all the players on the field etc…we don’t need you commenting - that’s why there is the stadium announcer! And why do you find it necessary to “high five” me? I saw you licking your fingers after those nachos and chesse.. keep the cheese covered germs to yourself please! BTW… I’m not your BRO! I don’t recall your image in the last family portrait.
Have you ever noticed that whenever there’s a good play on the field there’s some idiot who was on his way up or down the stairs, just happen to stop directly in your line of sight? Yep.. you missed the %$#@!&* play because this fool decided he couldn’t wait for a break on the field to go fill his trough with more nachos
BTW… tailgating must have been invented in Buffalo, as well as the word “Stinking Drunk”!
