I’m reading the latest headlines and one GRABBED my attention. Normally I don’t really follow baseball any longer (afterall the Bluejays are not as competitive these days) but this one really stuck out: “Giants ink Zito to $126M deal”…
NEW YORK (AP) - Barry Zito and the San Francisco Giants reached a preliminary agreement on the largest contract for a pitcher in baseball history, a US$126-million, seven-year deal.
Can you imagine ever making that kind of cash? Begs the question though… where will they draw the line and say “are sports stars really worth that kind of cash?”.
