I hope everyone’s enjoying this beautiful summer Sunday. Caron is pissed since she had to go into work and be stuck in a building while most people are enjoying a backyard activity. I guess she was hoping to take that new cocktail book she bought last night, for a test drive. I’m a scotch-on-the-rocks kinda guy, but the pictures in that book sure do make you want to try some of those beautiful colored drinks.

Before I head back outside to read while I blast some tunes on the new outdoor stereo we got a couple weeks ago (oh, how I love the bass on that thing), I have a few updates to share with you…

I’ve gone through 75% of the applications and I’ll be emailing the ones I’d like to speak to further later tonight. If you applied, please check your email first thing in the morning. I must point out - If you applied and didn’t hear back from me, I’ve kept several applications on file for the next time we hire. The level of skills I saw in the applicatiosn was mind blowing. Please don’t take any offence if you don’t hear back from me or question your skills and abilities. Here is the thing (and I’m sure you’ll hate me for saying this)… You’re just too qualified! I can’t understand whay someone soo qualified would want to answer emails!

Cheap Books!

After dinner last night (super Aussie burger at the Outback) we went over to Chapters for a browse. Friggin place was packed to the brim and parking was a nightmare. Two minutes inside and we figured out why. They currently have a huge HUGE sale on all sorts of books. If you live in Canada and love to read… rush over to your local Chapters and take advantage of this sale. This is where Caron picked up that cocktail book she was hoping to test drive today!
