Fun-filled, jam-packed, overly tiring weekend. Yes, what an amazing weekend, capped off by my first win as coach for Tehya’s U14 girls soccer team. Their coach is away on 3 weeks vacation in England and he asked me to take over the team until he returns. Game time and we were 2 players short so I wasn’t looking forward to the next 70 mins. But the girls played with tons of energy and heart! We walked away 6-2 winners at the final whistle. Well done ladies, let’s hope we have a full team next week so you guys can actually get breaks.
Lesson learned - Give it your ALL when the odds are against you and you will get the outcome you desire.
Here are some pics I took on Saturday at the Toronto Caribana…

Blue Lady group?

Couldn’t get pass the fence, but the pics were still great. If you ever visit Toronto around the first weekend of August, be sure to attend the Caribana parade. An amazing day to experience the culture, music and food of the Caribbean. Can be a bit crowdy (between 1 and 1.5 milion people) but it’s probably the biggest cultural show/parade in North America where everyone can participate in some form or another.
So how was your weekend? Leave me your coments.
