I received an email a couple days ago from Cindy, who mentioned that she’s having a problem knowing and understanding the terms associated with working from home, when doing her online jobsearch in the telecommuting field. Cindy (I hope you’re reading) I’m a bit busy today, but I’ll try my best in the coming week to try and explain things for you and everyone else who’s feeling a bit antiquated.
Cindy, I’d also like to introduce you to the work from home forums at WFHMarket.com. Here you can connect with many people in your own situation, as well as veterans in the working at home field to get help with any questions you may have. They’re a very friendly bunch (won’t bite) who I’m sure will be willing to assist you in any way possible.
It’s the weekend, time to sleep in!
So what was I doing when many of you were sleeping in or making the drive into work?

Yup! I had to take Tehya to get her hair done at the mall. Notice that the stores next to the salon (Regis) are still gated in with the enclosures? Means, it’s too early to be hanging out at the mall. At least it gave me a chance to catch up on some reading. I’m about 10 pages away from finishing up “Secrets to blogging your way to a six figure income” and enjoying every page. Hopefully I’ll remember and have time to write a short review in the near future.
Quick Observation!
Why do people do mall walks in the summer when the weather is nice and the scenery is much better on the outside? Full credit for getting the exercise, but why not take the opportunity during the warmer months to get your exercise and enjoy the outdoors a bit? Also… so you walked around the empty mall a couple times, but you then head to the coffee shop where you get that insanely rich coffee drink and that sugar capped pastry! OIC.. it’s not about the exercise you get from the walk, it’s about the reward after the walk!
Enjoy the day. Lets hope this storm blows away so I can go enjoy the mardigras.
