Further to my previous 2 posts where I shared a couple tips on making money online… keep these 2 in mind! Do you recall the first 2 I shared?
1. Surround yourself with people in the same field or interest. Even if it means spending some money to go to the trade shows etc. Constantly peek over their shoulders to see what they’re doing.
2. Create a swipe file! Bookmark or write down anything cool you come across you feel could benefit you. Even if you don’t have use for it today, it will come in handy later on. 6 months ago I came across a tool that allowed me to grab the feed from a blog and display it on a traditional webpage. I didn’t have use for it then, but today I’m currently using it on the main page of WFHMarket.com.
Additional tips on making money online…
EDUCATION! - You have no idea how important it is to keep up to date! The internet moves so fast, one gets dizzy just thinking about it. For 7 years I was content learning what I know by what people in the industry told me, emails I received and browsing forums. THAT WASN’T ENOUGH! As I started to purchase books and other resources I quickly found out that I was hurting me, the 7 years I relied on just learning what fell onto my lap! Now, don’t go out and buy every book or dvd on making money online. You’ll still be broke at the end, since everyone tries to convince us that their resource is the “must-have” one. Yet, they fail to deliver. Do some research, read reviews on the book, ask questions in the forums, read reviews people write on their blogs. But still keep in the back of your mind that not all reviews will convey the right feel of the book, since the write may be an affiliate who’s just looking for a quick sale. If you remember the tip I gave you some time ago, you’ll not just read the blog review on the book, but read the comments! The people who comment will be very objective and give you a clear picture if the book is just recycled hype!
This applies to everyday life as well, even if you’re not trying to make money online. Keep educated! Train yourself to always be a student.
I didn’t intend for this post to be this long, so I’ll have to wait until tommorrow to continue with the other tip I was about to share with you. I’ll leave you with this… Think SPY!
