It’s early Saturday morning and as with the rest of the week I’m up and ready to go by 6 am. “Sleeping in” are words that just does not exist in my vocabulary. As I listen to some streaming house music from London, England I thought I shared a few things with you…
Faster and like a ninja!
Working from home online means I usually like moving fast! The faster a page can load for me or I can get a task completed, it means I can get more accomplished. The past couple days I’ve been testing the new Google Chrome browser and I’m very impressed so far. I’m a huge fan of the Mozilla Firefox browser (I’m using it to make this post), but with my same internet connection I’m noticing faster pages loads with Chrome. If speed is your thing, why not give Chrome a test? BTW, there’s much more to Chrome than just the speed at which pages loads.
Split testing can be revealing!
If you’re a frequent reader to some of the top affiliate marketing blogs online I’m sure you’ve heard the term “Split Testing” used. I manage several mailing lists (ezines) for my network of career sites and it’s all managed through Aweber. For those of you not familiar with Aweber, it’s basically a service/way of managing any sort of mailing/autoresponder list you may have. You have the ability to collect names and emails via your online form and set up automatic messages to go out to them or email then whenever you please. It’s all legit as it’s 100% opt-in.
Back to split testing. Yesterday for the first time since I’ve been using Aweber, I decided to give this a test. Basically I broke my list in two, used the same message but changed the title of each message. You have the ability to break the list you manage into about 6 parts I think. But in my test I used 2 parts as mentioned.

Above is a partial screen shot of what the broadcast looked like when I sent it. So far, yes there’s built in tracking to see how many times each email was opened. So I can now judge which headline caught the attention of the reader and resulted in them taking action.
Why split test? Kinda obvious to me now, but for those of you not clear on things… it gives you the opportunity to test headlines, content etc on the same list to see which message converts best. Once you’ve fine-tuned a message, you’re set! Now you can get the best results whenever you send out a message to your mailing list.
One more tip..I did say 3!
