Move over Spidey - Mr. Invisible is here!
May 14th, 2007 by Chris De La Rosa

Do you ever get the feeling that people are either blind or you are just the latest super hero to hit the streets… Mr. Invisible! Spent the day yesterday with our girls at the mall getting some summer clothes and I can’t tell you how many times people ran into me, walked directly in the path I was in or brushed against me. A number of times I checked my reflection in the store windows to see if I could still see myself.

Hey! It’s Monday and this is my pet peeve!

Don’t even bother!
May 7th, 2007 by Chris De La Rosa

Grocery carts with one bad wheel or any other non-working parts makes it’s way into my usual Monday’s Pet Peeve list.  Not just the wonky wheel, but the ones that get stuck together when you try to remove one for use..don’t even bother wasting your time..it may result in personal injury!

Shower..not sauna!
April 30th, 2007 by Chris De La Rosa

Not necessarily a pet peeve (though it’s time for Monday’s pet peeve)… but!

Don’t you just hate it when someone hits the shower before you have to go in to use the “facilities”. Be it to shower yourself or use the other great features of a bathroom ;) ! Especially if they like to shower with scolding hot water. The heat and humidity as you walk in really drives me nuts!

And what about those people who just have to use up every last drop of that precious hot water… WAIT..thats me. Ok, nevermind.

People don’t know the difference between ‘Yield’ and ‘Merge’!
April 23rd, 2007 by Chris De La Rosa

Had a brief visit with my parents yesterday, which meant driving on the 401 to get to Toronto. This brings me to “Monday’s Pet Peeve”…

Why is it so difficult for people getting onto the highway to merge into the flow of traffic? Is it that difficult to get up to the speed of the traffic you’re about to merge into?

Same goes for the “Yield” sign morons.. please learn what it means.

Unwrapping or putting together?
April 16th, 2007 by Chris De La Rosa

Hey it’s Monday and we’re back online (jerkhole hackers) so it’s time once more for Monday’s Pet Peeve!

Having 3 daughters we’ve had the fair share of Barbie (and other) dolls make it’s way into our home. Ones we bought and others that friends and relatives gave to them around Christmas, birthdays etc. Have you tried taking one of these dolls (and other toys) out of the packaging? First you have to deal with that molded plastic packaging… then the million and one pieces of twist-ties that strap the doll to the cardboard. Just when you thought it was over.. they now have a stitching that weaves itself through the hair and something clothing of the doll..YEP.. you guessed it..attached to the cardboard or piece of reinforced plastic.

Shoot.. the only thing missing is a combo-lock!

I’d prefer to put together a 100 piece toy than have to deal with the packaging.

Do we really need all this supposed safety measures?

Make it a good One!

Chris..

p.s. people who are quick to correct one’s spelling, yet they speak like a hick should just learn to “chill dey piggy”!
