Position: Part-Time SEO Travel Copywriter

General Summary:
The successful candidate will develop marketing concepts and copy for websites and other advertising media such as email campaigns targeted at the lodging and hotel industry; update existing content; and provide general creative support. The candidate will also be responsible for writing content for search engine optimization on hotel websites.

Requirements:
English Major with at least 2 years of writing experience in the lodging/hospitality industry. Knowledge of SEO (search engine optimization) a plus.

Knowledge, Experience/Ability:
- Familiarity with the online space, specifically with hotel website or travel blogs.
- Understanding of what constitutes successful interactive/online marketing communications.
- Appreciation for the potential of advertising/marketing on the web.
- Passion for/personal experience with travel throughout the United States
- Basic knowledge of appropriate hardware (Mac and/or PC) and software (Microsoft Word, etc.).
- Excellent creative writing abilities, organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse group.
