Thanks for stopping by Yesterday's Memories, Chris! I had written a post recently about our family's lifestyle of living below our means. It has always taken the debt pressure off of our Christmas celebration, and for that I'm thankful. This year our grandson turned 13, and we had no idea what to get him at all. For the first time ever, all he got from us was money. He was delighted! I'm sure he's been bugging his Mama and Daddy to take him shopping, so he can spend some of it. But at least he's a young fellow with a plan. Much of it will be saved until the Spring, when he will use it for Greens Fees at the local golf course. That's what he did with the money part of his presents last year, too. I'm proud of his parents for teaching him to use his money wisely, and proud of him, too!
