OVERVIEW:
The LPI Instructional Designer partners with subject matter experts and exemplars to create learning interventions for the organization. Primary responsibilities include data gathering and analysis, project management, curriculum planning, material design and development and project evaluation for all businesses within Operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Build relationships and an effective working process for consulting with various departments to quickly deploy effective tools at installing required knowledge and skills.
• Influence change within an organization with complex processes and competing goals.
• Gathering data and completing performance analysis to identify skills and knowledge gaps.
• Designing, developing, testing and revising materials for various training synchronous and synchronous curricula including: storyboarding, reference materials, job aids, courses, modules, units, simulations, assessments, evaluations, reinforcement strategies and exercises, e-learning, and blended solutions.
• Reviewing and editing for co-workers prior to distribution and coaching learning professionals in instructional design.
• Managing cross-business and cross functional teams to design and develop training materials.
• Designing and implementing assessment strategies.
• Designing and implementing learning transfer evaluations.
• Utilizing emerging media trends such as podcasts, wikis, blogs and the ability to effectively select most appropriate delivery solution.

Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• BA / BS degree in instructional design or related work experience.
• 5+ years instructional design experience within a large corporate service organization focusing on both technical and soft skills interventions.
• 5+ years experience in blended and e-learning solutions.
• 3+ project management experience.
• Minimum 15% travel.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Master degree.
• 10+ years instructional design experience within a large corporate service organization focusing on both technical and soft skills interventions.
• 3+ management experience.
• Certified in Accomplishment Based Curriculum Development or Ruth Clarks’s Instructional Design Process
• 5+ years experience in Information Mapping

• Expert in emerging trends in ISD.
• Proficient in e-learning tools such as Perception, Captivate, Tool book, Flash and Dreamweaver.

• Ability to successfully manage multiple projects.
