Do you get flyers/circulars delivered to your mail box with the latest specials and discounts offered by stores? For the past 3-4 weeks it seems that the normal 4-7 flyers that came once a week morphed into at least 8 lbs of paper two times weekly now! Do we really need that much flyers? Does the marketing team really think people are going through all 20 of the mini-magazines that were once 2 page ads?

….and we’re being asked to help conserve the environment. Why not tax these stores that find it necessary to waste so much paper, ink and energy… maybe then they’ll think twice before producing so many printed ads.

Yea it’s Monday and that was my pet peeve.
