About 2 weeks ago I posted an ad for a virtual worker and I’d like to update everyone who applied on their application status. Within 48 hours of posting the help wanted ad, I received over 1500 (yes, you read correct, fifteen hundred) applications. However, I’d say about 40% of them were deleted immediately. WHY? I hate people who can’t follow a little bit of direction. I asked all applicants to 2 two things when they apply. 1. Don’t send any attachments and 2. Please put a certain phrase in the subject of the email.

How can I expect you to work with me if you cannot follow directions? So I had no choice to delete them without hesitation. Though I’ve now had time to go through all the applications that survived my “delete” button, I’m leaving the position opens for another 48hrs.
