I am currently investigating the dental school in Charleston. I don't live close and the drive will be very interesting, but I'm hoping to find some help there, for a mouthful of woes.

One of my son's scout merit badge counselors is a student there and I don't quite feel like I'll be put out to the pasture.

I'm starting to feel sorry, though, for the dental student that get's my name in the lottery.

Another thought came to me, as I've been going through dental hell for the last few years..

My initial consultations and itemized lists were quite useless as my dental nightmare progressed (pushed by medications I was then taking) as the dental work lingered. At the end of that treatment (8 months worth) I was feeling the financial crunch and yet had a new nightmare to start over with, in my mouth. Some things we can't control.

Good luck. I'm insured and can't afford it... scary!
