Staying focused in the land of distraction.

Having too much on your plate can be destructive! I’m one of those people who usually have a million and one ideas and many times I find myself trying to get them all going at once. At this very moment I’m working on opening a restaurant (Lickrish), trying to streamline/monetize  my websites (Genuinejobs.com , Cruisecrownprincess.com , Freeacneadvice.com, Nakedpatio.com, Laglee.com and a few others, PLUS… I have several websites that are in development mode and require my constant input.

The problem is, I can’t seem to focus on any “One” that I may complete the related task and move on to the next. So, here I am trying to do a little for each and quite frankly this is proving to be non-productive.

So the game plan, starting today is to focus on the stuff that requires my immediate attention, then complete the ones that require the least amount of work. This way I can eliminate the easy tasks and concentrate on the ones that require more of my attention. The next step - AUTOMATE!

So today’s tip to staying focused and getting more achieved… eliminate tasks that chew-up your time and try to automate as much as you can.

P.S. Congrats to our eldest daughter’s field hockey team (Sherwood High School)  for winning the  city championship and for advancing to the Provincial level competition. Well done ladies!

Just about froze my “KoKos” watching them play this morning in winter like conditions.
